I’m planning a honeymoon in May for 8-10 days to two of these three islands(still not decided): Oahu, Maui, Kauai. What is the best way to plan this trip? Should I go through some travel agency or plan the trip details myself (booking flight,hotel,rental car etc.) ? What’s best in terms of affordability and enjoyment? If planning on my own is better then what are some good resources?
I prefer Kauai and Maui. Oahu is very busy. Below are some resources that I have used in the past.

I have a wedding in Hawaii in mid-June that is going to cost me a min. of $600 to get to. To maximize the $ I’d like to use Hawaii as a midway point to get to Australia or Japan (or any other suggestions) for a longer trip. Anyone know of any good deals where you can stop Hawaii heading out across the Pacific?
I suggest booking the two trips separately. Book your trip from LA to Hawaii, then book another from Hawaii to Japan or Australia. Just book your trip from Hawaii however many days later you want. It gives you time to enjoy Hawaii.
Do I really need a TV on a vacation to Hawaii?
I am well aware that TVs are not from the 19th century. It was an exaggeration to prove my point.
Some people love to just relax in their hotel room, but there is natural beauty everywhere you look. Go outside! Or Costco has large flat screens pretty cheap and then you could ship it home 
I was wondering if anyone knows a company that offers packages(all-inclusive) from Toronto to anywhere in Hawaii. Thanks!

Here’s a little video of a rap I wrote poolside on my honeymoon at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai, located on the same island where Kanye West just filmed his “Amazing” video. I spit it real quick on the patio outside our room while my wife was in the shower. You can hear the ocean and the birds chirping in the background. We stood in line from 130am the night before til 130pm the next day! It paid off though! WE MADE IT!!!
