Scot and the band performed a special concert at the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway in Palm Springs to commemorate Elvis’s 74th birthday. What an incredible experience to be sitting in the living room of Elvis’s house enjoying this wonderful performance. With Russell Scott on bass, Ty Cox on drums, and Denny Presley on guitar.

I am planning for next May 2009 to go to Hawaii. My husband have been married for 8 years but no vacation and 5 kids later I think we are due.
From living on the islands I’d also have to say either Oahu or Maui. Heck it might be nice to go to more than one island. As there is the Super Ferry which nowadays is just as cheap as taking a plane ride between islands since airlines are charging between 10-17 dollars a bag.
Maui is more of a resort island known for its beautiful beaches and resorts. Great if you want to lounge around.
Oahu has a little bit of everything if you know where to look and has a few of the 1000 things to do before you die on it; such as hiking up Diamond Head; the view is spectacular! They also have the USS Arizona Memorial, Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Polynesian Culture Center, Sea World and Kualoa Ranch. Kualoa Ranch has several nice tours that take you off the normal paths that not many people realize they can tour. If you’re a film buff like me there is a movie tour that takes you through the areas where Jurassic Park was filmed, 50 First Dates, King Kong etc. Also don’t forget to eat some malasadas
Good luck with your trip planning.
What is the best island to stay on, and what hotels are good? Thanks!
Maui the Grand Wailea Hotel is great…..
Where are the best islands to go in hawaii for my honeymoon also list the worst places thank you
Maui & Kauai.
skip Molokai – nothing to do
I’m going there ro my honeymoon so it would be for relax and enjoying rather than adventure and x-sporting.
Oahu!! My family and I have stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel four out of six times that we have vacationed on Oahu. Never been to any of the other islands, never really "felt the urge".
Pacific Beach Hotel has two towers. We stay in the Oceanarium Tower floors 12th on up.
The 22nd floor (Diamond Head View) is really amazing at night! You can see Diamond Head and the lanai would really be romantic at night.
I sit on the lanai and just enjoy the tradewinds as they caress against your skin. Drinking a cup of Kona coffee!!
Take care and congrats on your future wedded life! I have been married for over 27yrs.
My fiancee and I want to have our honeymoon in Hawaii.
We are looking for a resort that is all-inclusive including: food, drinks, maybe some excursions, etc.
I also want to know the best island to go on to have the maximum fun with exploring both land and sea.
I have done some searching and found a few places, but I would like to hear from people with more knowledge or even experience.
Thanks
