have you tried doing any research? look on the web or google it. when i was in hawaii i saw tons of weddings going on at hotels. i’m sure you can find several hundred

i had a vacation booked for cancun this week, but had to cancel due to the hurricane. im trying to find some thing all-inclusive in hawaii, nothing too expensive. or if you have any other cheap travel ideas PLEASE let me know!!

Hello! Sorry to hear about your Cancun vacation, but Hawaii is another great alternative. Hawaii is different than many of the other tourist destinations around the world and they don’t offer many if any "all inclusive" deals on Oahu. I see above there might be a deal on another island, which would be great, but it looks pricy. I have booked to Hawaii many times and have found that the only way to get good package deals on air/car/hotel was to use http://www.expedia.com. They give a significant discount when you purchase all together and you can get a 7 day trip for 800-900 per person excluding a car right now. I just priced that for someone else and haven’t had a sec to figure in the car. There are a wide range of hotels to chose from and you can spend a little or a lot depending on your needs. The ocean resort hotel is def a good place to rest your head and close to the beach and won’t drain you too hard. They offer cross the street parking for 5 bucks /day as opposed to some of the other hotels and much higher. Yes, almost all the hotels charge to have a car there. If you want some great info on Waikiki and the Oahu area check out some of my posts from a few weeks ago in my profile and you will find tons of ways to get things cheap and fun to do all over the island. Have a great trip! Below is a link to tons of info i put together on Oahu, hope this helps!

I want to plan a 2 week vacation to Hawaii.

A few years ago I booked a hotel and flight vacation from suntrips for $600 total per person for a 7 night stay at waikiki. The hotel was only 2 blocks away from the beach.

And 2 years ago I did the same but the price was $880 for the same deal. But now the company I went through has gone out of business.

The company I refer to is SUNTRIPS. I Can’t seem to match their prices or deals anywhere. Just in airfare I am spending $550 per person and finding a cheap hotel has been a nightmare. The same hotel right now when i tried to book tried charging me $170 per night.

What I am wondering is how the heck did SUNTRIPS pull it off to offer such great deals and how can i find another company like that?

Any ideas???

Hi Oscar, I am guessing that since you paid 550 for airfare alone then you are traveling from Bos/Nwk or JFK or some place similar. I love to use expedia.com when checking for package deals and I just plugged in a 7 day trip on Jan 7-14 and came back with 838/pp at the Hawaiian Monarch. I am never too picky where I stay cause I only rest my head there, but here are some of the details, this also includes airfare from boston!

We are wanting to go to Hawaii next year in February for our honeymoon and would love some suggestions on which area/island is nicest to stay on and hotels?

We will be flying into Honolulu.

Thanks =)

Now, I stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel on Oahu. It is right across the street from Waikiki Beach down the quieter towards Diamond Head.
You can get either a kingsized bed, or two double beds in your room.
Stay in the Oceanarium Tower, at least the 12th floor or higher.
On the 22nd floor (view of Diamond Head), in room 2266 I believe, there is a kingsized bed, and a great view of Diamond Head. Very romantic on the lanai. The higher up you go, the less sound of traffic. If you get a city view room, you will hear the traffic alot more.
There is transportation available to you, either rent a vehicle, or buy an Adventures The Bus pass at any ABC store. These passes will take you for four consecutive days around the island!

Hi i just wondered if anyone has heard of this company? You hear alot about internet fraud these days so just want to make sure as its genuine before i book with them as bit far to go to get money back! ta

i work in the travel industry and have not heard of them. It says that the credit card will be charged by the hotel and not them… and really all they’re doing is referring you to a hotel. Looks like they are working for whatever commission they have left on those hotel prices. Their BBB rating looks good. If you want to go with them i would suggest to just give them a call and see how you feel about them after talking with them and go with your gut. It may just be a small local company that is trying to compete with bigger agencies.
