What do you think of those outrageous package prices to the Sugar Bowl Game?
-Did you buy a package deal from the local travel agencies? how much did you spend?
or
-did you opt in buying flight/car/hotel seperately?

I think those who bought the package when it was like around $1000-$1500 are the lucky few!

Which are the the best months to visit and are there reputable companies to work through to get air, hotel, and tours all booked at the same time?

I would go whenever I wanted…. it depends upon your schedule and your tolerance for heat……..as for a reputable company, book through the airlines, they often offer very good arrangements

I just came back from Hawaii with a Hibiscus "package" to plant at home. It consists of a stick. What do i do with the stick? I have planted it in soil and nothing is happening. Help!!

I’d go get a rooting solution at the garden center. You’re supposed to dip it in (looks like granules), then plant it. Are you using good potting soil? Also, hibiscus from Hawaii needs to be kept warm – 70 or more. There are hardy varieties of hibiscus that probably goes dormant during the winter but I’d guess what you have is a year round, zone 7 or better (warmer). Make sure it gets plenty of light. I bet the "stick" has not rooted; that would explain it not growing leaves yet. Rooting it will be the first step. Don’t forget to water it; but don’t drown it, since it doesn’t have any roots yet, the plant won’t be able to use it up, except for some evaporation.

does anyone know any good web sites where i can find good deals

Pleasant Holidays always seem to have great packages.

If you’re a Costco member you might find a good deal there.

I want to travel to Hawaii around December 22rd. What the websites of the tourist company I should check on ? Does any tourist company have the full packages for traveling to Hawaii ? Please let me know, and if you have any recommendations about what to do and where to go in Hawaii, please let me know also

If you’re looking for recommendations about what to do and where to go in Hawaii, check out http://www.hawaii.com

They’ve got information about accommodations, all kinds of recommended activities, and a list of the best attractions found on each island. They also have hot package deals listed here: http://www.hawaii.com/weeklyhotdeals.php

If you’re looking for a great deal on activities, consider getting one of those "Go" cards for either Oahu or Maui. These cards get you into a lot of the big attractions, and you can even customize it with your own ideal itinerary that includes the activities you want the most at a good discount. Check them out at http://www.gooahucard.com and http://www.gomauicard.com

For activities, I would recommend learning how to surf or a dolphin immersion experience. Getting close to the marine life is one of the coolest things about Hawaii, and is not to be missed.

If you’re on Oahu, definitely visit downtown and the Aloha Tower. It’s beautiful at night and tons of fun.

Enjoy your trip ;)
