I have to set up a whole itinerary for a vacation package for Hawaii. Its for a computer class I have, that I have to use the computer to put it all together. In my package I’m going to Turtle beach Resort to stay in the same beach front cottage like in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Its located on Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI 96731-2202

I need some fun activity ideas to do while for my package! Would really appreciate the ideas! And name of businesses if you have them!

Get outside yourself and hook-up with a "wild-beach-bunch" and party until the sun comes up !!!

I want to go to maui in the summer but I’m on a low budget I’d like to find someplace to get a flight, room, and car in one package…. any suggestions?

My husband and i just watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and we want to go to Hawaii now. Where are the cheaper, yet still nice hotels/resorts? We’re thinking like a week, does anyone know about how much that would cost like a package deal or something? Also, are there certain times of ther year when its cheaper, like an off season or something?

Hawaii is very beautiful.. we stayed at the grand wialea resort it was superb! but i think they have many cheaper ones that can be equally as nice.. you should look into epedia, travelocity for packages or maybe hotwire for just hotels they are very good at pricing. =)

My mother in law suggested to us she would watch the kids early summer time so me and the wife could finally go on a vacation together. We are thing Hawaii but was wondering if there are any places that do like all inclusive packages ???

yes many and also check Pleasant Holidays. Do NOT spend your whole time in Waikiki. If you come to Oahu, rent a car and get out and see the island.

I will be going to Hawaii in the summer of 2011 with about 10 people or so.
I am supposed to be planning the trip to get the approximate cost, but I do not know anything about Hawaii.

If you have been there, what is a great place to stay? (like cities)
What was the cost of your trip?

And if you are not busy, will you help me find a trip package on expedia.com or something?

i went 3 years ago. I stayed on Maui the whole time, and loved it!!! taking a helicopter tour is awesome, but a plane tour is awful. they’re so cramped with little air flow. We went on the road to Hana and that was a little boring but it had some nice spots. it was a day trip, FYI. then we went up that mountain on Maui whose name is super complicated. that was cool at the top but once again, a boring drive. then we went snorkeling on a catamaran trip and a kayaking trip and those were both so much fun!!!

Considering a timeshare purchase? Before you take the plunge, you must see this “no-brainer” alternative to a timeshare. This luxury resorts travel membership is a “hands down” better choice for you.

I am looking for recommendations on finding good discounts on vacation packages, hotels, airfare, etc for a vacation on a budget.

The economy on the islands is pretty bad right now so you should be able to find some really good deals. When are you going and where are you coming from? I just booked a round trip ticket from the west coast to Maui for $314.00 round trip on Hawaiian Airlines (total). I know of a company in California called More Hawaii for Less that can put a package together that has some really good rates too.

My biggest recommendation for enjoying your holiday on a budget is to stay at a condo (versus a hotel) which has a kitchen. It cost a fortune to eat out in Hawaii. Also, you may want to check out the Entertainment Book which offers great accommodation discounts and coupons. The initial $30.00 spent on the book is well worth it!
