Ohana hotels (www.ohanahotels.com) probably has the best rates … and although you are coming at HIGH season … check www.ata.com out of Ontario (since that might be a little cheaper than LAX – less well-known)
But, my best advice is to go with a package deal, since you are traveling at high season. You can find some good ones at the website below, or in the Sunday LA Times, or the Sunday OC Register in the Travel Section.
