Is it too early to book now? Do the best deals for December come around spring or summer? Does anyone know any good deals that are available now?
Before Dec.15th and after April 15th for best deals.
You get more for your money renting a condo, unless you want pampering and room service. A condo in Kona, on the "Big Island" Hawaii. Lots to see driving around the island; has the widest variety of things to do and see, has different weather patterns (Hilo is the rainy side).
It’s nice there most of the year, but if I had to choose one
Sept.is the worst month as it’s too hot and humid.

Book as early as you can. If better hotel rooms become available later in the year you can change your reservation as long as its far enough in advance of your dates. Lock in your air fare.
I suggest Maui for the best island to visit for activities. Oahu is the most visited and has the most tourists.
