There are tons of great hotels in Oahu. I’ve had good luck at SpinCityTravel.com. Look under hotels and it will bring up all the available hotels, with features, ammenities and customer feedback. Book air and hotel together and it’s an even better deal

Hi, we were at the newley renovated Wyland Hotel on Kuhio Ave which is in walking distance from everything. Waikiki beach is a 5-8minute walk.
The had special offers due to reopening and also evry third or fifth night free if I remember correctly. We will certainly stop over there again

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Its exterior is beautiful, with one building having a huge Rainbow Mosaic on the outside, that can be seen often in promotions for Oahu. The hotel itself is in a very busy part of Honolulu, and the grounds are just beautiful – it’s also right on the beach!! We had a fabulous stay there.

I am not sure how big your family is but, I think it is a good option for familys. We often stay there when visiting Oahu. Another option would be the Miramar

Hey,
I live here on Oahu, and I don’t live that far from Waikiki. So i go and stay at a hotel with my friends and family when i want to play "tourist" and hangout on the strip. I honestly would suggest The Wyland Waikiki. but this also depends on how old each member of the family is, and how long you’d be staying here. Also the Marriot is nice, and sometimes its pretty reasonable.
